About the Artist

Hello and welcome!

My name is Sydney, and I am the artist behind Aurum Lunae ("Gold of the Moon"). What started as a simple passion project in fall of 2024, fueled by my love for crafting, quickly blossomed into a delightful small business. Each pair of earrings is meticulously handcrafted by me, from folding the delicate origami pieces to carefully encasing pressed flowers in shimmering resin. I'm excited to see where this creative adventure takes me, and I dream of one day showcasing my designs at my local farmers market here in beautiful Minnesota.

My connection to art runs deep. From the moment I picked up a pencil at eight years old, I knew I was born to create. I pursued this passion through college, earning a degree in art education. While I've since moved away from formal teaching, my artistic spirit remains vibrant and continues to inspire every piece I create. The intricate techniques of origami, combined with the modern touch of resin, allow me to explore new textures and forms, resulting in a true expression of my style and personality in each piece.

My ultimate goal is to create beautiful, wearable art that brings joy and confidence to those who wear it. I believe that everyone deserves to feel special, and I hope that my earrings can be a small part of that.
